Amie started drawing at the age of six. She is a self taught artist and is always trying new things to improve her art skills. "Drawing is my way of escaping everyday life". She enjoys workin with several mediums ranging from pencil all the way to adobe photshop. Her goal is to be well educated in digital paiting.

"You see a lot more art created using computer generated tools. If done well enough you can't even tell your looking at a digital painting. Personally I think it takes more work to use digital applications versus real paint. I can get a painting (watercolor, acrylic) done under three hours. With Adobe it actually takes me longer to create the right color base. The color choices are endless"

At the moment she is currently studiyng Film, which is her true passion. "I took a teledramatics class in high school and did a few small plays in grade school. I found it to be very interesting. I have a huge imagination and can become the character I am portraying..." She has produced a graduation ceremony video for the Fire Academy 2007, mixing photos and video footage of the students while in the academy.

She not only has produced a video, Amie has won several awards dating back to age seven. Eighteen years later she has earned several 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and best of show awards for her art in her local county fair. Earned recognition for her artistry in junior high and high school. She has contributed her talents on two murals, one of which is showcased at her old junior high school.

In 2000, after she graduated High school she was selected to go to an art program in Valencia Ca. She earned her art scholar medal "I loved the California State Summer School for the Arts. I wish I could have studied more. It is a program dedictated to brining high school students into more serious studies in the arts. Unfortunatly I was only signed in the fine art program, I would have loved to see the theater and film program."
